Sidney Architectural Millwork and Timber Co. specializes in custom cabinetry and millwork. This division of Griffin Properties Ltd. was founded in 1995 in order to meet deadlines and manage quality for our discerning clients. We found it difficult to find companies that could supply custom doors, windows, mouldings and cabinetry in the quality and time frame required for the homes being built by our company.

We began this company in a backyard garage, but found by 1999 our facility was too small. We purchased a 3100 square foot warehouse, tripling our shop area. Further expansion in 2001 allowed us to develop a state of the art spray booth, allowing us to prime, paint, stain, and add protective coatings in a climate controlled atmosphere.

By 2003, our business had expanded to providing other contractors and builders the same expertise in craftsmanship as required by our own company. This made it necessary to purchase an additional 2000 square feet of shop space. Our facility now encompasses approximately 7000 square feet of work space.

Our millwork shop is managed by Brian Thompson, a 40 year veteran in residential and commercial construction & millwork. He has a thorough understanding of cabinet making and joinery and is proficient in estimating and scheduling. We have fully certified journeymen, joiners and apprentices working as part of our team. Many have been long time employees of Griffin Properties and we can attest to their expertise.

We believed that one of the effective measures of a company is in the stability of its staff. Many of our employees began as our apprentices and are now fully qualified journeymen, joiners.
